Company

We're giving time back to the firms that move capital and a control plane worthy of what they manage.

Position

Vantage is being built as the operating system for the modern venture firm.

The firms we serve run diverse books. Direct deals, fund commitments, secondaries, public crossovers, the occasional credit position. The work has compounded but the infrastructure underneath it hasn't. Most firms still run on spreadsheets, inbox forwards, shared drives, a CRM no one updates, and the partner's unwritten model. The leverage that should come from scale doesn't, because the layer underneath the firm is glue.

The platforms built for portfolio work were built before language models could read a document. The platforms built since were built to demo, not to sit inside a partner meeting. We're building the version that does. AI native, document grounded, designed to be the layer every workflow at the firm runs on top of.

Cited.
100% of extracted metrics carry a source citation. Document, page, timestamp.
Private.
Zero customer documents used to train models. Inference only pipelines. No exception.
Versioned.
Every metric, every edit, every change retained for the life of the account.
System

What we're building.

An operating system for institutional capital allocators and the expert firm that runs on top of it.

Ingestion turns the documents your firm already receives into structured, citation-anchored data: investor updates, valuation letters, capital-call notices, board materials.
Agents read every document on file and write the briefings, memos, and analyses partners need before they're asked.
Knowledge graph holds every position, relationship, metric, and citation in the firm's own tenant.
Workflow surfaces sit on top: board prep, IC memos, LP letters, position reviews, follow-on analysis, all built directly against the graph.
Advisor sits in the seam with the firm's full context loaded, available wherever the partner is working.

Every layer is AI-native. Designed around what models can actually do today, not retrofitted onto tooling from before. The surface stays narrow on purpose: every claim defended, every figure sourced, every assumption surfaced.

But the platform is only half of it.

Vantage also operates as an expert services firm. Analysts, IR professionals, legal support, back-office specialists, all powered by the same control plane. Firms that want the software run it themselves. Firms that want the team get Vantage-powered experts who already have full context on their portfolio, already know their positions, and already have the work done before the ask comes.

Think of it as the operating system and the operating team. You can have one. You can have both.

Principles
01

Provenance.

Every figure on the platform traces back to a document. Every document, to a source. Nothing appears in a metric cell that can't be defended to a partner who asks where it came from. We treat unsourced numbers the way a research team would: we don't publish them.

02

Restraint.

We say less, and we say it once. The product ships without features that don't earn their place. The marketing site has no claims that don't survive a partner meeting. Allocators have read enough material that overstates itself; we'd rather understate and be right.

03

Stewardship.

Customers entrust us with the working material of their firms. Memos, board decks, fund correspondence, position level data. We handle that material the way they would. No training on customer documents. No sharing with model providers. No surprises in the data agreement.
